The result of coming to your session with a vision
"Whimsical, Woodland"
Those key words were all I needed to hear and I automatically knew where we needed to go. A little secret spot with the most magical, ethereal trees that make you feel like you've stepped into a different world. Joey was an absolute delight, with her and her mom coming all the way to Belfast NY from Rochester to capture these moments. This session was one for the books. We slowed down, took our time and really got the chance to curate a vision. That is the BEST way to work in my books! I brought some dried florals for details and a couple of props (Shoutout to my fiance for joining and strapping a ladder to the top of the jeep) and got to frolic among the trees.

This session couldn't have come at a better time as I've been playing around with my editing styles and have been dreaming of doing some more ethereal work and imposing lighting elements into my photos. I was craving a session that gave me the opportunity to really consider my photos a piece of art and this was absolutely it.
